Welcome to the Benefits Division. We are responsible for managing the benefit programs for Johnson County employees including: health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, deferred compensation and the County match supplemental retirement, and flexible spending accounts which includes medical and dependent care reimbursement. We also work with the shared leave benefit program and coordinate the educational reimbursement program.

Can Benefit Elections be Changed Due to a Qualifying Event?

Did you know...

• You have 30 days from the date of the event to make changes.
• Changes to benefit elections must be consistent with the qualifying event.
• You should inform OFM-Benefits immediately of any qualifying event to make benefit election changes.
